On Monday I shared how I use a decorative item to display Scripture passages in our home. Another place we keep Scripture in our house is on the inside of our bathroom cabinet doors. I typed up these verses on a piece of cardstock–I probably should have laminated it, come to think of it!
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.” Titus 2:11-12
“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 1:3-8
These particular passages have been there for a few weeks now and have been dripped on by children putting away their toothbrushes :) But I love that twice a day when we brush our teeth and at bedtime when I take out my contacts and wash my face, these Bible verses are right in my line of vision. This encourages memorization both for me and my family!
On Friday I’ll be talking about why I chose to display these passages of Scripture!

Thanks ladies, for your encouraging words. Having them right on the mirror is a great idea, Jennifer!
We have scriptures posted on our (large) bathroom mirror! They need to be printed out and replaced, but I haven’t been able to bring myself to take them down.
After reading your post, I’m thinking the inside of the doors of the upper kitchen cabinets would be a great place to “store” some verses to meditate on! Thanks!
I used to do that…need to do that, too!!! Thank you for the reminder!
I love to do this too! The outside of many of my cupboard doors are covered in scriptures. I’d like to get my hands on some really nice artwork too!
