I hope you’ve enjoyed the Scripture in our Home series! It’s been fun for me to think of some extra ways to display Scripture on our walls, in picture frames and other places at our house.
One thing we did with the kids over the weekend was to print out some “thanksgiving” Bible verses, color them and laminate them for placemats at the table. This would be fun if you are hosting Thanksgiving to make for each guest. You could also print out a verse and have each guest write something they are thankful for on the paper and then hang it up or display it in a frame.
The verses we used were Psalm 107:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, 1 Corinthians 15:57 (“Thanks be to God”) and 1 Chronicles 16:8. I realized after printing these out that it was quite tedious to color each letter but Will stuck with it, I colored some, and Leah did her own thing :)
Because we live in a parsonage, we haven’t put up any of those popular wall vinyls with Scripture verses. Something about buying them and then not being able to reuse them when it comes time to move doesn’t sound so great. But I love getting ideas for the time when we may own our own home! Here are some I’ve recently found on Etsy and Dayspring.
This bird has Matthew 6:33 printed on it and is available as a wall canvas or framed canvas at the Dayspring website. All of their wall canvases are 30% off for November!
Love this one from Etsy: “Be still and know that I am God.”

These are so beautiful! I have been wanting to get more scripture before our eyes! I was thinking of mod podging it onto different things.
