At some point during my musing I thought about how, as a mom, wife and woman, I want to live every area of my life with purpose. In living this way, I’ve come to the realization that I must take each day as it comes (because sometimes it’s rather difficult to see the forest through the trees).
The thought came to me then of what my great-grandmother (who went to her heavenly home at the age of 104) would say when asked what she thought about life at that mature stage: “I just trust God and take things one day at a time.”
We were created for a purpose…our lives are no accident! Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works, my soul knows it full well.”
Because of this strong belief that God desires our lives and actions to be carried out intentionally, I want this to be a place where we can all encourage and inspire others to do the same!
And so we have “The Purposeful Mom” — Living with purpose, one day at a time.
