It’s sweet when you sometimes see your children getting along the way you’re trying to teach them to do. This past Saturday my husband needed to go into work and while I was getting ready to go to my recipe club in the morning, I noticed the kids were very quiet. Thinking they were probably up to no good, I peeked into my room and heard Will exclaim, “Leah, hurry, get on the boat!”

Turns out they were pretending our bed was a boat and they were saving themselves and all their stuffed animals, Noah and the Ark style. The laundry basket by the bed was the liferaft, which Leah seemed to prefer over the boat, much to Will’s chagrin. “It’s going to tip over!” he kept saying.

I was so thankful that they played like this for almost an hour, allowing me to get a few things done around the house. Now if only they would do that every day!!
