First of all, I want to say thank you times 17 to those of you who read and comment on my blog. Whether you follow via Facebook, RSS, Google Friend Connect or Email, you are SO much appreciated! I love having you share your thoughts with me when I write what’s on my mind and heart. My blog has grown beyond what I ever imagined it would.

I’m excited to announce that it’s time for me to move from Blogger to WordPress! What does that mean for you, the reader? It means:

  • A blog that’s easier to navigate so you can quickly find what you want.
  • A clean and fresh design.
  • A better comments interface so that you actually get notified when I respond to your comment {this helps us keep up dialogue and gives you the confidence that I DO respond to what you write!}.
  • Better interaction with the contributors, because they will also be able to respond to your comments on their posts more easily.
  • The choice of a weekly newsletter or a daily email update if you so choose to follow in that way {I’m very excited about this option!!}.
  • The same encouraging and challenging posts from both me and my contributors.
  • A more focused “brand” for the blog, so you know what type of posts you will be getting on a regular basis when you come here to The Purposeful Mom!
Unfortunately, because I am moving to WordPress, Google Friend Connect will go away. You will no longer be able to follow my blog in that manner, so I’d encourage you to follow via email or RSS to be sure that you continue to get updates and posts!

More details soon to follow and be on the lookout for my “blog design launch” giveaways the week of December 8-15 {hint: they’re all for you mommas and your sweet babies}!

In the meantime, I’ll be taking a little blogging break so my fabulous designer can prep the new blog! Have a great week!
