Before You Continue: This offer is available for NEW Amazon Moms accounts only.  If you’ve had an Amazon Mom account previously you won’t be able to use this offer.
Have I ever said how much I love Amazon Mom? (Actually, I don’t think I ever have, but I really do love it!)
Right now, Amazon is offering a FREE three month trial of the Amazon Mom program!
Amazon Mom benefits include:
  • Free two-day shipping on millions of items with Amazon Prime
  • 20% off diapers and wipes when you use Subscribe and Save
Initially I signed up for a year-long trial of Amazon Mom. Because we ordered so many of our diapers, wipes, baby items, books and more from Amazon, we kept it and paid for one year of Prime, which costs $79. (Here’s a good post about the benefits of Amazon Prime).
If you sign up for the free trial and then decide not to keep it at the end of three months, follow the steps below to keep your card from being automatically charged a renewal fee:

1. Log into your account
2. Click “Manage Prime Membership”
3. Click “Do Not Upgrade”
4. Click “Turn-Off Auto Upgrade”

3 Comments on Try Amazon Mom for Three Months–and Why I Paid to Subscribe

  1. Thanks Jenn. Amazon prime is attractive, but I’ve never felt right paying the $79/year. We don’t buy that much thru them, but I’m sstill going to look into it. Thanks!

    • Hi Kelly,

For us personally, I think we would have. We don’t use it for diapers as much anymore, since our 3rd is now in cloth (we transition our kids to cloth when they’re a few months old). But when you pay for Amazon Mom, it functions pretty much as Amazon Prime, just with some added benefits like 20% off diapers, etc.

Amazon Prime gives us free two day shipping, lets us send things for free to anyone (great for sending Christmas/birthday gifts to far away relatives) and we also have Amazon Video, which we don’t use that often but it’s nice. I earn lots of Swagbucks that I redeem for Amazon gift cards (my post on using Swagbucks: https://thepurposefulmom.com/2011/12/why-i-use-swagbucks-and-how-you-can.html), so I get quite a bit free from Amazon, including groceries! Works for me! :)
