Summer is here and we are gearing up for the busyness it holds.
We have been so blessed by the many wonderful posts shared at our weekly link-ups. Thank you to each one of you that has participated!

At least for the summer, we decided to take a break from each posting our own thrifty-themed posts so we could highlight our very favorite posts from the past week.

That has proved to be one hard task! There were so many excellent posts to choose from last week, but here are three of our favorites.

Trial and Error Homemaking shared a super-interesting post on how to freeze potatoes two different ways {and how to keep them from turning funny colors while frozen!}

Heather from Our Cultivated Life shares her ideas for summer activities with her little ones {as well as a tutorial about how to make this adorable jar!}

Mother of Seven

Natasha from Mother of Seven gives us two very smart money-saving tips that you may not have thought of before!

Jill from Jill’s Home Remedies shows us how to detox our bodies by taking a bath in bentonite clay! I cannot wait to try this!

Anna from Feminine Adventures and I are co-hosting a Thrifty Thursday Link-Up every Thursday!

Please read our guidelines to help us in having a fun and relevant link-up and then enter your post below! Please give us a link back so others can join in the fun!

Hi, I'm Jenn! I'm an "unstuffy" pastor's wife and mom to four amazing and active children. My desire is to equip you with the resources, tools and encouragement you need to learn God’s Word and apply it to your life so you can teach the Word to your children in a way that has a lasting impact! I want to help you turn good ideas into good practices so that you feel confident, by the grace of God, in carrying out the many vocations you have been called to as a Christian woman.
