One thing I love about late summer is that there are lots of seasonal fruits that can be picked for free or purchased on sale. My favorite of these fruits is the raspberry! I’ve made raspberry jam and raspberry pie in the past so I decided to try something new–raspberry butter. The recipe is super simple.

1/4 cup softened butter
1/4 cup raspberries
1 tsp. sugar
Mix ingredients, chill for one hour to enhance the flavor.
Perfect on whole wheat bagels, toast or biscuits!
