Yesterday my husband was telling Will that when he was in college, guys would steal food off of their friends’ plates in the cafeteria. My husband then explained that one day when someone was trying to take his food, he drooled on it to stop them.
Will looked confused and said, “You did what?” Then, “That must have been an accident because nobody would drool on their plate on purpose in this world.”
Leah is also busy talking and tells everyone very loudly (even waitresses in restaurants) when she goes to the bathroom. She constantly points to books we’re reading and identifies their facial expressions with feelings. “Baby sleepy? Mommy happy? Baby sad? Puppy barking?”
She’s also fond of saying about the lady who takes her in at daycare every once in a while, “I go to Bonnie’s. Play with puppy. Play with friends!”
Wow, and to think I was afraid at one point that she wouldn’t talk very much :)
