Sharing is caring!

It’s been so fun for us to create Christmas traditions with our children and of course some of these traditions include our favorite books! Every December the kids are excited to pull them out. Here are five Christmas books that we love, great for toddlers and preschoolers!

The illustrations in Room for a Little One are beautiful and our whole family enjoys the story of all the weary animals who find their way into the stable before the donkey brings the most special guests–Mary and Joesph (and soon baby Jesus!).

Tonight You Are My Baby is the Christmas story told from Mary’s perspective. I have to say that this one made me tear up, thinking of how much I love my kiddos and how much Mary must have loved her little boy.

Do you remember the Little Golden Book called The Christmas Story? I grew up with this story and now read it to my kids. It’s old-school wording makes for a good vocabulary lesson and in my opinion it’s such a good Biblical portrayal of Jesus’ birth.

You Are My Miracle is a book about the same little bear from You Are My I Love You. It’s nothing educational but it’s a simple and sweet story about all the little things this bear does to get ready for Christmas.
