Tomorrow we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving with my parents, some other relatives and my grandparents, who are in their 80s. I’m so blessed that they are still with us! We’ll be eating lots of yummy food and our kids will even have a little poem they’ll read for the fam. :)

I’ll be taking the rest of the weekend off here at The Purposeful Mom (I may update the Facebook page and/or my blog with some great Black Friday deals!)

I’ll be busy preparing our supplies for the Truth in the Tinsel crafts and putting the finishing touches on my first eBook! It’s called God’s Word in My Heart: A Scripture Learning Guide with Memory Verses and I’m planning to release it mid-January!! More on that later :)

Some highlights regarding what’s been happening here at the blog in November:

Truth in the Tinsel {an Advent Experience for Little Hands} Giveaway – This giveaway is still open until 11:59 pm tonight (Wednesday, Nov. 21). I’m excited this year for our family to work through this delightful eBook starting December 1st (in our home) and December 3rd (at the blog)! I’d like to invite you to join me at the blog! You can see more details about how we’ll be doing that here.

Cultivating a Grateful and Thankful Heart (and Not Just in November) – Stacie from Motherhood on a Dime has just released an eBook on cultivating gratefulness in her heart and the hearts of her children.

Stacie’s book is called Thanksgiving Heart: Cultivating Gratitude in Children All Year Long. And through Wednesday, November 21, she’s offering it for just $1.99! You can read more details about the ebook here.

November is National Adoption Month! Some lovely moms have shared some beautiful stories of adoption that you will truly enjoy and be encouraged by. I’ve also included my own story of being an adopted child.
