I never journal (except in a very limited way on my blogs) and so in an effort to capture some memories of my son’s current personality, I asked him for a list of his favorite things. Here are his answers, verbatim.
Favorite Color: I have three colors now: red, blue and yellow.
Favorite Snack: Popcorn with candy on it (huh?). Well, actually, apples too (whew).
Favorite Toys: Toy vehicles and buses. I love playing with toy rescue trucks.
Favorite Book: The ones you read to me are the ones that I like. (He really enjoys Richard Scarry books and Dooby Dooby Moo right now.)
Favorite TV Show: Busytown (There’s not much to choose from here, as he only watches three shows on different days: Clifford, Mister Rogers Neighborhood and Busytown.)
Favorite Movie: Thomas the Tank Engine
Favorite Stuffed Animal: Super Polka Dots (a small white dog)
Favorite Thing to Do Outside: Play in snow and build forts in the snow
Favorite Bible Verse: One of the Romans ones. “I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayers.” Oh, that’s Psalm 116:1
Favorite Song: Ding Dong Merrily on High (and yes, we’ve been singing that every night since the end of November…)
