Last night I had a dream that I was running with my husband. The only problem was, he was running faster than me and as hard as I tried, I couldn’t keep up. The dream ended with the alarm waking me. I never caught up to my hubby.
This is also the way I have been feeling about life lately. There is so much to do and so little time. I feel pulled in many directions and I don’t want to overstretch my abilities at the expense of spending time with my family.
That being said, I have come to the conclusion that I will be scaling down my blog for the time being. I will continue to share a devotion each Monday, starting next Monday with Proverbs 31:17-22. Apologies for not keeping up as promised on these devotions! What a crazy summer it’s been!
My Wednesday Will-isms will continue to be posted (at the request of my mother-in-law; hopefully you enjoy them too!). Feel free to browse through the archives of my Tuesday’s Tasty Treats and hopefully I will continue to add recipes at some point in the future. You are also welcome to visit our family blog, Thorson Family Live. You can also check out my About This Blog page to see my purpose for this blog and a little bit about me.
I’m thankful for all of you that read my blog and pray that you continue to be blessed by the things God has been teaching me! Here’s a passage I have really appreciated this week:
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Remember, O LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.
-Psalm 25:4-6
