Enjoy these free Valentine’s bible verse printable cards for your kids to share at school or with someone special! These encouraging scripture valentines are fun to give on Valentine’s Day and can be used in a variety of ways.
I seriously LOVE Valentine’s Day (I know, cheesy play on words, right?). It really is one of my favorite holidays. I think it’s the bright colors and the cute sentiments and the chance to see this holiday as a way to share God’s love for us!
I’ve created some free printable Scripture valentines that you can print and use with your kids to give to anyone you’d like.
They don’t come with envelopes but you can just write on the back of each one and tape it to the candy or a non-candy Valentine item.
Combine the cute watercolor animal theme cards with a sweet treat and it makes an easy way to share the sweetness of God’s Word with others!
There are eight of these free printables and they look great printed on regular cardstock.
These cute Valentine cards are a great way to share the love of Jesus in the month of February.
Bible Verses about Valentine’s Day on Printable Valentines to Share
I based the verses for the printable scripture cards on some important verses from the Bible that demonstrate the love of God and how we love others.
“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.” 1 John 4:7
“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” 1 John 3:1
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:12-13
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Romans 8:37
“Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.” Jude verse 21
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34
“Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” 1 Peter 3:8
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” 1 Corinthians 13:4
How to Use Our Free Printable Bible Verse Valentine Cards
These free scripture valentines can be used in a variety of ways, not limited to February 14th! After you print them out on card stock and cut them out (laminate if desired), you can:
- Tape a piece of candy to the bottom to give to classmates for a Valentine’s Day party at school
- Attach them with a ribbon to a twist lollipop
- Send to grandparents in the mail along with a cute picture your child has drawn or colored
- Punch a hole in the top of each card and tie onto a clear bag filled with heart-shaped cookies to give to someone special
- Use them as a Bible memory tool for teaching your own kids verses about what true love means
- Skip the laminating, write a note to your child on the back of the card and put it in their lunch box!
