I wanted to share with you as part of my Memorable Christmas on a Budget series, a FREE printable Christmas planner that can help you get a handle on your holiday budget (with a twist)!

I’ve made this two page simple and cheerful planner, aka Budget Guide, free to subscribers!

I want to help you get control of your budget this season, and I truly think that writing things down has helped me maintain my spending. A recent survey I read from Crown Financial Ministries shows that people wish they had spent LESS money and MORE time with family during this time of year.

Here’s what it includes:

A Bible verse at the top of the sheets, which helps remind me of the joy in this season! :)

DIY Gift Budget – for writing down different DIY gift ideas and the supplies you’ll need to make them

Gift Budget – for gifts you grab at the store or online!

**A tip: Write down how much SHOULD be spent, not how much HAS been spent! It seems simple but it’s something I neglect to do when I’m hurrying to shop!

Food Budget

Decorating Budget

Time Budget – for writing down events that take place during this busy time of year to help you decide whether or not to attend. I talked about “time budgeting” in my earlier post on 5 Attitude Changes that can take the Stress out of Christmas!

Giving Budget – for writing down money you give to charitable causes or service project ideas for you and your family! This is a category I don’t often see in holiday planners and I wanted to include it because it is such an important part of the Christmas season: to give back to others and share generously, teaching our children to care for those around them (helping to “un-spoil” them at Christmastime).
