I love teaching my kids Bible verses! There are lots of ways to do this, from Bible verse puzzles to hand motions to “writing through” the Scriptures! For us, a simple way that always is effective for teaching our children the Word of God is to just have them practice saying the words with and after us, sort-of a “repeat after me” approach.
Learning Scripture is more than just memorizing words, it is also about hiding God’s truths in our hearts so that we can call to mind different verses in every circumstance! We’re really focusing on teaching Scripture to our four year old preschool son right now.

It’s great to have prompts and visual reminders of these verses we are learning! So I’ve created ten printable Bible verse cards for Motherhood on a Dime (where I contribute each month) that you can use for teaching some key Scriptures to your preschooler. (But you can honestly use them for any child!)
These verses show us who God is, who we are, what He has done for us and how He calls us to live. It’s a brief “overview” of the Christian life that can be a helpful springboard for learning about our Creator and Savior!
Just head over to Motherhood on a Dime for your copy of the 10 Bible Verses to Teach Your Preschooler printable cards!

Thank you for these resources, we arr currently living in Indian and there are not many Biblical resources for children.
I’m always looking for ideas for our Kids Club. Most of the children are unchurched, so lessons must be simple.
