Friday’s are wonderful, aren’t they? As the work week draws to a close (for most of us), Friday nights are the time to relax at home with your family or friends, go out to a hometown football game under the lights, or have a fun evening out with someone you love. I always feel more relaxed when Friday comes along. It seems as though there are less expectations for a Friday: less worrying about the housework getting done or about how clean the kitchen floor happens to be or how much laundry is stacked in front of the washing machine, waiting to be cleaned. If you don’t let down your guard on Friday, why not try it? See what a blessing it is just to enjoy the day and the company of your children and husband with no expectations. The laundry can wait until the morning. I mean, that’s what Saturdays are for, right? :)
Have a blessed weekend.
The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.
I will bless the LORD who has counseled me;
Indeed, my mind instructs me in the night.
I have set the LORD continually before me;
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
