I’m doing another Good Morning Girls study, this time in the book of Ephesians with a wonderful group of bloggers. It’s been very encouraging to read the thoughts of others on the first 14 verses of this New Testament epistle written by the Apostle Paul.

There are some beautiful words found in this portion of Scripture that describe who we are in Christ:

Blessed

Chosen

Predestined

Sealed

Holy

Blameless

Look also at some of the wonderful things God has done for us through His Son!

“blessed us with every spiritual blessing” vs. 3

“chose us before the foundation of the world” vs. 4

“redemption through His blood” vs. 7

“forgiveness of our trespasses” vs. 7

“lavished on us (his grace)” vs. 8

“made known to us the mystery of His will” vs. 9

gave us the Holy Spirit as “a pledge of our inheritance” vs. 13-14

Wow! So many glorious things to try to wrap my mind around, although I’ll never understand them completely. God is so very good to us and truly has an everlasting love for each and every single person. We had nothing to give Him and yet He freely gave us such incredible blessings. What an amazing God we serve!
