What can you do with a can of Pepsi and a bottle of ketchup? Make supper of course! (Wait, that wasn’t the answer you were looking for? :) )
I first had Crock Pot Cola Chicken at a monthly recipe club I attend with some lovely ladies. The theme that month was five ingredients or less and this fit the bill! Hope you enjoy!
Crock Pot Cola Chicken
Serves 5
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken (1 1/2-2 lbs) or chicken breast
1 cup ketchup
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 cup cola
Directions:
Salt and pepper chicken to taste
Put chicken in crock pot
Add onions
Add cola and ketchup
Cook on low 6-8 hours
Shred chicken using 2 forks
Our favorite way to serve it is on buns with a salad and chips. :)
