Today I was driving cars with Will during Leah’s nap. I told him after awhile, “That’s all the driving for me. It’s harder for me to crawl on the floor now that I have a baby in my stomach.”
“Yeah,” he said. “I bet your stomach feels like it’s stretching out and it’s going to break.”
“It’s not going to break.”
“Well, you have room for a baby in there, but that’s probably all the room you have. There’s not enough room for 100 cars I bet. That would be too heavy to fit!”
Quite the imagination.
Here’s a photo of my little Leah. Today she went to Bonnie’s for daycare so I could go for my glucose test at the clinic by myself. After she came home I asked her how the day went. This is what she said:
“I play with Meg. She went pee-pee potty. I went potty too. We big girls.” That about sums up her excitement for the day. Oh, and one other thing: “The doggy ate my fingers.” Huh? :)
