Re-emphasizing our salvation by grace through faith was one of the main focuses of the Reformation. Though these biblical truths were not new, some in the church at that time had added extra requirements onto salvation, putting Christians under the burden of the law.

As Martin Luther studied the Bible, he desired to communicate the truth that we could not in any way contribute to our salvation, and so he wrote and preached often about being saved through faith by the grace of God alone, sparking many changes within the Christian church.

This year is the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Some blogging friends and I are excited to offer you a fun family giveaway in connection with this memorable event in church history! These tools are wonderful for the whole family and will help you teach your children about Biblical and historical information as it relates to the time period of the Reformation in a fun way!
