Thanks for joining me for The Busy Mom’s Guide to Teaching Character series! If you haven’t yet had a chance to read all the posts, here are the topics we’ve covered so far:

I hope you’ve been encouraged and challenged as we’ve talked about teaching character. The take-away I want you to have is that you can do this, with the help of God! Don’t rely on your own strength and abilities, instead rely on Him to equip you with the wisdom you need to address your children’s individual needs.

There are some great tools I’ve found over the past few years that have helped us as parents instill values and character in our children. Below are 25+ Biblical and fun resources for teaching character! Feel free to add your suggestions in the comments!

My son, if you will receive my words
And treasure my commandments within you,
Make your ear attentive to wisdom,
Incline your heart to understanding;
For if you cry for discernment,
Lift your voice for understanding;
If you seek her as silver
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
Then you will discern the fear of the Lord
And discover the knowledge of God.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
Guarding the paths of justice,
And He preserves the way of His godly ones.
Then you will discern righteousness and justice
And equity and every good course.
10 For wisdom will enter your heart
And knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
