This post was put together in part by my 10 year old son who loves Disney! It’s a little off the beaten path of things I normally write about but I thought it might be fun to share some ideas. We put a family game under the tree every year for our kids so we either own or have played a lot of these games.
We’ve done the gift hunting, so all you have to do is click and purchase to find the perfect Disney board game for family game night or for gift-giving!
The games are categorized by recommended age, but they’re certainly something the whole family can play together. Which game you choose will likely be dependent on the ages of your children!

My kids loved playing Scrabble Junior with their great-grandma when she was still with us, so don’t be intimidated by a spelling game (good practice for school anyway!).

Favorite Disney Board Games for Ages 8 and Up
If you have children who are ages 8 and up, these Disney family board games are your best bet. I will say that my 7 year old was able to play Codenames with us. We’ve also borrowed a couple of these from our library. Great gift options for the true Disney lover!

We bought this for our kids last year and they love it! It’s great if you already know a lot about Disney, otherwise it might be challenging to play.
Disney Sketchy Tales Board Game | Magical Drawing Disney Game for Kids
We’d recommend this for ages 10 and up, just because of the intricate nature of the game. We tried this one and my kids weren’t super into it. However, if you have a child who loves to draw, this is a great option. You can play as many or as few rounds as you want, so you could even include younger children if they enjoy drawing as well.
Monopoly Hasbro Gaming Disney Animation Edition Game
This version of Monopoly looks like a great option for the older child who enjoys Disney animation. I think my 10 year old would be interested in this game because he loves learning facts about the Imagineers at Disney–he even wants to be one someday!

Disney World Theme Park Pop-Up Edition Monopoly Game
This would probably be a splurge buy, but if you’re huge Disney fans, this might be the game for your family this Christmas!
