I like to accept advice from other moms….but in secret.
Since childhood, I’ve had the tendency to only want to learn when I am the initiator. I really don’t like unsolicited advice.
Does this describe you? :)
For moms like us, this is where the internet comes in very handy. While we want to remember to sift through information carefully, many online tutorials, studies and conferences can be a super helpful way to get the advice we know we need but on our own time.
There are two online conferences starting very soon that can fit in with our busy lives and help us learn on our own time and in our own way! I am very much looking forward to both of them and wanted to mention them to you too!
The Mom Conference
The Mom Conference is coming up on October 11-13. It is a FREE online conference!
It features 20 engaging and helpful presentations from top-notch speakers and bloggers who are trusted in their field.
The Mom Conference will give you powerful, concrete ideas to help you make positive changes to your mothering and reaffirm you in what you are already doing!
Each day of the conference, they will offer up to seven presentations to watch free on your computer. I plan to leave my laptop open and let them run throughout the day. Even if you catch just a few of the presentations, it’s FREE, so there’s nothing to lose :)
This conference will help you:
- Manage your children’s emotions (and your own!)
- Figure out how to avoid the “me, me, me epidemic” that is producing over-entitled children
- Get your house clean – and keep it that way (for real)
- Strengthen your marriage
- Help your children embrace healthy foods while teaching them to cook
- Manage your children’s screen time and smart phone use (without making them hate you)
- Develop a budget that really works for your family (yes, it’s possible!)
- Live a more intentional and joyful life (and teach your children to do the same)
- And much more!
I’m interested in several of the talks including one on decluttering with Ruth Soukup from Living Well Spending Less and raising un-entitled children from Amy McCready of Positive Parenting Solutions.
Also, when you register now, you’ll have access to 2 FREE GIFTS.
Sign up now and let me know if you do! I look forward to learning with you!
Homemaking Ministries Online Conference
The Homemaking Ministries Online Conference is a four day paid video conference with speakers who address finding balance in areas of home life, including motherhood, marriage, meal planning, homeschooling and more!
While the 2016 Homemaking Ministries Online Conference doesn’t go live until October 25-28…they are running a bonus offer for the next 12 hours if you register before October 3 at 11:59 pm.
You have two options for tickets. The $29.95 basic ticket (which gives you full access to the conference) OR the $49.95 premium ticket which includes:
Full access to the conference
A BRAND NEW goal setting course & workbook (with immediate access)
A bundle of goodies MAILED TO YOU just in time for the conference (see below)
Here’s a little peek inside the bundle of bonuses you will get mailed to you!
I’m going to be honest and say I have not been part of this conference in the past but a few of my fellow bloggers are presenters and I wanted to encourage them by sharing this with all of you in case you are interested!
Learn more or sign up here.
To glean from other experienced moms (without the unwanted advice that sometimes drives us crazy) is one of the best ways to grow in our knowledge and wisdom. I’m looking forward to just that in these conferences!
